Car Camping Options.
Get ready for easier gear hauling at this year's Couples Camp! We're excited to offer a car camping option. This means you can drive your vehicle down the gravel road to the camping area and set up camp nearby. You will probably not want to camp right next to your car but you’ll be camping way closer than ever if you need to make a couple of trips with gear.

Want to hike?
No problem! Hiking in is still totally an option.
Overlanding Welcome:
Overlanding vehicles are welcome in a designated area. See the signs when you arrive.
Campsite Flexibility:
If some in your campsite group overland and others hike or car camp, that's perfectly fine! Your campsite can still choose its own campfire location, regardless of where the overlanders end up.
Vehicle guidelines:
RVs, pop-up campers, and trailers are NOT permitted.
4WD with good off-road tires is recommended.
Campsite Considerations:
Choose your campsite location keeping in mind that some of your campsite members may not have 4WD and will be parking on the road and hiking gear in.
Campsite groups still need to check in together, whether driving or hiking.
Share rides to minimize vehicles in the camping area.
Consolidate once you get to Base Camp - throw your gear into someone else’s car and walk in (or ride in with them).
Important Notes:
This is still new for Couples Camp, we’ll need some grace.
Want to sleep in your car? Totally up to you! Tents are encouraged though.
Sprinter Vans are welcome, but we’ll park them along the gravel road with the cars.
We hope this new option makes Couples Camp even more enjoyable for everyone!
